NEW YORK—Eyewear is increasingly becoming a vehicle for new types of electronic vision technologies. “Spec-techular” products incorporating head-mounted displays, augmented and virtual reality, 3D movies and games and programmable vision training systems are changing consumers’ perception of eyewear and creating new entertainment experiences and clinical applications.
