Latest News Luxottica Named Among Top 10 Specialty Retailers for Customer Service and Satisfaction By Staff Wednesday, April 1, 2015 12:18 AM RANDOLPH, N.J.—Luxottica Group tied for eighth place among the Top 10 Specialty Retailers for 2015 selected by RIS News, a business magazine for the retail community. Appearing for the first time on the list that uses seven key metrics to compare companies, Luxottica finished in the top third in four categories—revenue, profit, social strength and W-Score (the ability to meet customer expectations). In its Top 10 Specialty Retailer report, RIS News cited Luxottica’s “efforts on customer service and satisfaction” and “improvement in customers’ opinion of the brand” over the past year as reasons for its position on the list. “The retailer posted an 11th place finish in W-Score and was 12th in social strength, indicating that customers not only have a connection to the brand, but their expectations are routinely met,” the magazine stated. “High shopper engagement has led to a 4.2 percent rise in customer count and a 5.5 percent increase in revenue in Q3. Luxottica is personalizing the experience for its customers thanks to a sophisticated CRM system and digital marketing campaign that is designed not just to sell but to thank customers for their patronage,” RIS News reported.
