ATLANTA—Emphasizing the value of specialty health organizations including those in managed vision care will be the focus of the program at this year’s Annual Specialty Health Summit, to be held May 1 to 3, at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, Tenn.

The National Association of Vision Care Plans (NAVCP) along with the National Association of Specialty Health Organizations (NASHO) are hosting the event, themed “Voicing Our Value,” emphasizing areas of common interest as well as content targeting the various industries that NAVCP and NASHO represent.

The keynote addresses will cover the biggest topics and trends impacting health care today. Political analyst Charlie Cook— columnist and author of The Cook Political Report—headlines the slate of keynote presenters. The agenda also features expanded specialty health session tracks for vision, hearing and physical medicine. The Summit concludes with live entertainment Southern Nights: An Evening with Patrick Davis and Friends.

According to Julian Roberts, NASHO/NAVCP executive director, the vision track speakers and sessions will be finalized in the next week or two. VMail will report on those details as they become available.
