NEW YORK and LONDON—Marchon Eyewear, Inc. and Victoria Beckham Ltd. announced that they have entered into an exclusive, long-term global licensing agreement for sun and optical eyewear. The new collection developed under this agreement will be launched globally beginning fall 2019. While the collection will be developed in Italy they will continue to embody Victoria Beckham’s intuitive and refined aesthetic, taking cues from the brand’s sophisticated femininity, distinct and modern ready-to-wear accessory offering, the company stated.

“This new partnership with Marchon comes at an exciting time for the business, as we work toward reaching our global potential and expanding the brand following a series of strategic partnerships and appointments since our new shareholders, NEO Investment Partners, joined the business at the end of last year,” said Paolo Riva, CEO of Victoria Beckham Ltd.

Riva continued, “Eyewear is synonymous with our founder and this license will allow us to scale our presence in the eyewear retail market and capitalize on Marchon’s technical innovation, expertise in product development and global distribution network, whilst continuing to offer our customers a product that they can feel empowered in, and excited by. Marchon is an industry leader working with such dynamic, iconic brands, so we are delighted to announce this partnership with them.”

Nicola Zotta, president and CEO of Marchon Eyewear, Inc. added, “Victoria Beckham has done a remarkable job of building a true luxury brand with a confident identity and authentic point of view, and our organization is immensely proud to be collaborating with Victoria and her team. We believe that the Victoria Beckham brand is on the rise and quickly becoming one of the most influential in the industry. We are committed to the success of this partnership and look forward to producing eyewear that characterizes the brand’s trend-forward designs and contributing to the brand’s continued global growth.”
