The license runs until 2022 and joins Yohji Yamamoto as anchor brands for the Brando family. Starting in the mid 80s with Alain Mikli, Magee is best known as the co-founder and creative force behind the Face à Face brand for nearly 10 years. She has worked for brands as diverse as Lafont and Anglo-American and in 2005, Alain Mikli launched the first Alyson Magee collection under license, where it ran for five years. We are dedicated to the creation of beautiful high value eyewear for discerning consumers and retailers, via a small group of legendary designers and house brands that will all be revealed in the coming weeks and months. The first was Yohji Yamamoto and now Alyson Magee. We can’t wait to tell you about the rest.”The first Alyson Magee collection of sunglass and optical frames will launch in the fall of 2016 and will be available to better retailers worldwide.
