SUNRISE, Fla.—Mad Vision is a new wholesale company debuting in the U.S., a business which is the collaboration of an 18-year veteran in the optical business, Guillaume Pottecher, and Marc Aptakin, owner of Mad Studios, a full-service advertising and marketing agency based in South Florida. Together they have conceptualized “a collaboration between wholesale distribution and a fully integrated marketing platform to develop a competitive strategy based on individual customer aspirations,” the executives said.Presenting its full spectrum of optical and non-optical styles, Mad Vision is showcasing its current portfolio of collections, including Red Bull Racing Eyewear, iHuman Adaptable Eyewear, Von Arkel Switzerland and the Guild of Spectacles Eyewear. On his motivation to begin the company, Marc Aptakin explained, “In today’s market, there are very few companies dedicated to men’s eyewear that connect high brand values and innovative products at the consumer level.
