GREEN BAY, Wis.—A new senior management team is in place overseeing Shopko's optical business.

Darren Singer has been named senior vice president retail health and wellness and has taken on the role overseeing optical and pharmacy, according to the company. Kirk Lauterback is now manager, optical merchandising and marketing. Don Bye, former vice president optical services for Shopko, is no longer with the company.

Shopko is one of the country’s largest optical retailers. It was No. 13 based in VM’s annual Top Retailers’ Report this year. For the period ending Dec. 31. 2014, Shopko Optical consisted of a total of 140 locations: including 129 Shopko Optical departments, 9 Shopko Hometown optical locations and two Shopko Express Eyecare locations.
