Latest News Pearle Vision Receives Clio Award for ‘Ben’s Glasses’ Advertising Campaign By Staff Friday, September 29, 2017 12:18 AM NEW YORK—Pearle Vision received a 2017 Silver Clio award for its “Ben’s Glasses” campaign during an advertising industry ceremony Wednesday night at Lincoln Center here. The award was presented in the Fashion & Beauty/Film category.The ad, which features a young boy struggling to acclimate himself to his first pair of eyeglasses, debuted earlier this year on Super Bowl Sunday, typically the biggest—and most closely watched—day of the year for new ad campaigns. Pearle Vision’s agency, Energy BBDO, developed the creative for the campaign, which was designed to highlight Pearle’s commitment to “genuine eyecare” and to exemplify the company’s iconic motto, “Nobody cares for eyes more than Pearle,” according to an announcement about the award.
