ALAMEDA, Calif.—Primary Eyecare Network (PEN), a division of ABB Optical Group, will host its second annual solutions summit for PEN members from April 14 to 15 at the Marriott Union Square in San Francisco. PEN’s solutions summit will focus on analyzing the business side of eyecare practices, and more specifically how to strategically utilize profit and loss numbers to increase success. Event speakers include Jay Binkowitz, executive vice president of business strategy and field operations for Total Eye Care Partners, and Mark Wright, OD, a fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (FCOVD), according to the announcement.

“With insights from industry leaders and inspirational peer discussions, our inaugural solutions summit was a resounding success last year,” Nan Meehan, vice president of eyewear for ABB Optical Group and PEN, said in an announcement. “We are thrilled to offer this opportunity again to eyecare practitioners and continue to help them grow their practices.”

PEN, which was founded in 1984 by a group of private optometrists, focuses on enhancing the independent professional optometrist's ability to compete in a rapidly changing marketplace.
