ATLANTA—EyeSouth Partners announced it has completed a strategic partnership with Cobb Eye Center, expanding its presence into the Marietta and northwest Atlanta regions. EyeSouth is an eyecare-focused physician services organization formed by Shore Capital Partners, a leading lower middle market health care private equity firm. No financial terms were disclosed. Cobb Eye is led by ophthalmologists Bruce Crowley, M.D. and Gerry Parada, M.D., who provide care at two clinical locations in Marietta and Dallas, Ga. Cobb Eye offers a suite of eyecare services including cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, diabetic eye management and routine eye exams.

Cobb Eye was founded in 1985. Cobb Eye will continue to operate under its brand, with no changes to its staff, physicians or locations, the announcement said.

EyeSouth’s affiliate network consists of 55 doctors providing medical and surgical eyecare services at 36 locations throughout Georgia, Florida and North Carolina.
