NEW YORK—When Vision Expo opens its doors this morning, nearly 650 exhibitors representing 5,000 brands will be showcased here, a sure sign that Expo is the top event for innovation and building relationships with high volume buyers and independent practices alike, show organizers said.

Attendees have some new features to look forward to this year ranging from the new Take 30 Lounges featuring new meeting spaces and rest opportunities to a new Designer Gallery, which will introduce buyers to the newest designers on the scene.
