NEW YORK—The slew of social media sites demanding business owners’ attention can be daunting for ECPs, but they needn’t be—in fact, engaging with customers and potential patients online can be easy, says Alan Glazier, OD, who created the optometric networking group, “ODs on Facebook,” an e-newsletter called Eyegregator and authored a book on the topic, Searchial Marketing.

In a recent session of the online radio talk show, The Power Hour, host and creator Gary Gerber, OD, interviewed Glazier on subjects such as Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest and brought to light the simple ways optical professionals can share content and interact online.
