OAKLAND, N.J.—Topcon Medical Systems, based here, has appointed Corey Nielson vice president of sales. Nielson succeeds Al Brooks, who will remain as senior vice president and will assume global strategic sales responsibilities for Topcon Corp. Both Nielson and Brooks will report to John Fujita, president of Topcon Medical Systems.

Nielson has over 15 years of sales experience in the ophthalmic device industry. He has worked as a sales consultant and regional sales manager for Zeiss Meditec and Topcon. In 2012, he was appointed director of corporate sales for Topcon and then promoted to senior director in 2014.
