NEW YORK—Vision Monday’s associate editor, Jamie Wilson and assistant editor, Stephanie Sengwe will be hosting a Pop Up Talk titled, “CHECK.OUT: Trunk Shows and Beyond—How Independent ECPs Build the Ideal Inventory,” at Vision Expo West. The Talk takes place on Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Vision Expo Content Studio (G22017).

Inspired by Vision Monday’s Style.Pages, “Check.Out” feature which highlights popular frame collections that ECPs are carrying and why their customers love them, the Pop Up Talk aims to give Independent ECPs a chance to discuss how they cater their eyewear selections to their customer base’s preferences.

ECPs will be discussing what they look for when selecting a collection for their practices, how they know a collection will appeal to a variety of people in their community, and how they keep their customers coming back once the trunk shows, sales and promotions are over. In addition, ECPs will also be discussing how their carefully curated collections give them a competitive edge.

The panel will include Jenny Ma, owner of Brooklyn Spectacles in Brooklyn, N.Y.

VM’s Pop Up Talk is part of a series, open to all Vision Expo West attendees. Among these are a Pop Up from 20/20 Magazine’s James J. Spina, VP/editor-in-chief along with his editorial team of Christine Yeh, executive editor; Victoria Garcia, senior associate editor; and Jillian Urcelay, associate editor, who will present “What’s Your Selling Story?” on Friday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Vision Expo Content Studio.
