Latest News VSP Global Provides Aid During Disaster Relief Efforts in Baton Rouge on VisionMonday.com By Staff Monday, October 17, 2016 12:15 AM RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—After heavy rains caused catastrophic flooding in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area, several eyecare practices were heavily impacted, causing them to close their offices for over a month. Partnering with nine VSP doctors, VSP Global was able to help more than 500 adults and children receive no-cost eyecare and replacement glasses as they needed. 433 of those received care onboard the VSP Mobile Eyes clinic. Chris Wroten, OD, at Bond-Wroten Eye Clinic in Denham Springs, Louisiana, was one of the many optometrists impacted. He shared his story which you can view here.
