NEW YORK—Women in Optometry will be hosting a special webinar, Talking Shop: Develop the Skills You Need to Succeed on Monday, Nov. 28 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. EST featuring Louise Sclafani, OD, FAAO, director of optometric services at the University of Chicago Medicine and hosted by Women in Optometry’s co-editor April Jasper, OD, FAAO.

Jasper will moderate the webinar on the personal and professional development skills learned outside of optometry school. Sclafani, an expert in corneal disease and challenging contact lens fits, will join Jasper as they discuss information about the skills they’ve learned in traveling their distinct paths in optometry and the impact that these acquired skills have had on their practices and personal lives.
