LOS ANGELES—From April 12 to 14, Marcolin held its North America national sales meeting where Los Angeles served as its backdrop.Vision Monday was invited to the meeting which brought together the company’s sales teams from across the U.S. with the goal of reiterating the company’s growth, and injecting a positive energy into the atmosphere to keep the hard work and momentum going. The meeting, held at the J.W. Marriott L.A. LIVE, kicked off on Thursday, April 12 with a welcome reception and dinner in the hotel’s Mixing Room which featured drinks, dancing and dueling pianos as live entertainment.

Friday of the sales meeting started off on a high note with artist Erik Wahl’s interactive keynote about harnessing creativity in a business setting and was followed by a book signing.

Both Gianni Zoppas, executive vice chairman, Marcolin Group and Massimo Renon, global CEO, Marcolin Group addressed the crowd in the morning. Davide Rettore, CEO of Marcolin North America, then took to the stage to share company insights and goals with the sales force as well as emphasizing Marcolin’s “Next Play” culture and philosophy.

The highlight of the meeting was the surprise appearance of designer Tom Ford, welcomed by Maurizio Marcolin. Vision Monday was on the scene (see video) as Ford thanked Marcolin for its partnership and hosted an engaging Q&A session with the audience.

During the evening, attendees enjoyed a cocktail reception and gala where various awards were presented to Marcolin’s sales team.
