PEOPLE People By Staff Monday, April 24, 2017 12:00 AM Jim McGrann VSP Global Announces Resignation of Jim McGrann SACRAMENTO, Calif.—On April 10, VSP Global announced that Jim McGrann “has resigned as president and CEO in order to pursue other career opportunities.” Rob Lynch, who is a member of the VSP board of directors and served as president and CEO from 2006 to 2015, will assume the role of interim president and CEO. In the brief statement, the VSP board said it has “begun a search for a permanent successor and thanks Mr. McGrann for his eight years of service to the organization in several executive roles.” The company offered no further details. McGrann was appointed president and CEO of VSP Global, effective Oct. 1, 2015. McGrann succeeded Lynch who had served as CEO since 2006. Previously, McGrann was president of VSP Vision Care, the nation’s largest vision insurance provider, for three years. McGrann oversaw the growth of VSP’s membership from 56 million to 75 million. Prior to joining VSP Global in 2008 as president of Eyefinity, McGrann served as senior vice president and chief information officer for nine years at Marchon Eyewear, Inc. Giorgio Pradi Sunglass Hut N.A. Names Pradi as New General Manager MASON, Ohio—Giorgio Pradi has been named as the new general manager of Sunglass Hut North America. Sunglass Hut is a division of the retail business of Luxottica Group. Pradi brings 20 years of experience at Luxottica to his new role. He first served as wholesale country manager for Spain and Portugal, where he led the introduction of Sunglass Hut into the market and later served as general manager of Sunglass Hut Latin America, where he led growth of Sunglass Hut in Brazil and expanded the business into Chile, Peru and Panama. More recently, he oversaw the growing Sunglass Hut Europe business. Mary Anne Stangby, who has most recently served as SVP and general manager of Sunglass Hut North America, will work with Pradi on a smooth transition before leaving the company, a Luxottica spokesperson said. Before taking on the Sunglass Hut N.A. role a little over a year ago, she served as SVP and general manager of Sears Optical for three years. Prior to that, she was SVP of business development for Sunglass Hut for 10 years.
