MT. CLEMENS, Michigan—SVS Vision was awarded the Distinguished Community Service Award, which is presented annually during National Police Week by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office for their support of law enforcement.

For several years, SVS Vision has donated pairs of specialized eye protection to the Oakland County SWAT team while also providing eyecare and eyeglass discounts to all Oakland County Sheriff’s Office personnel.

Kenneth Stann, president and CFO, along with his wife Lisa Stann, executive vice president and chief operating officer, accepted the award on behalf of SVS Vision. The award ceremony took place in May in the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Auditorium in Pontiac.

“The officers of the Oakland Sheriff’s Office put their life on the line every day. I’m very proud of the fact that SVS Vision is able to provide some of the necessary equipment needed to help law enforcement protect the citizens of Oakland County,” said Kenneth Stann.
