Halloween is the perfect time to pretend to be someone or something else. In this edition of Bold Face we feature three celebrities who not only help inspire creative Halloween costume ideas but prove that sometimes a great pair of sunglasses is all you need for an effective disguise…

The American Horror Story franchise is rife with Halloween costume ideas. This season, American Horror Story: Freak Show, the fourth season of the FX horror anthology TV series, is set in 1952 Jupiter, Fla., and tells the story of one of the last remaining freak shows in America and their struggle for survival. A regular in all four seasons, Emmy-nominated actress Sarah Paulson plays conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler, who share one body and have two heads. They are suspected in the death of their mother but are spared from a guarded hospital and taken to Elsa’s (Jessica Lange) freak show instead. American Horror Story: Freak Show airs on FX Wednesdays at 10pm. In real life, Paulson wears the Chloe sunglasses CE627S from Marchon on her one head...

The first The Amazing Spider-Man movie starring Garfield appeared in 2012, with a sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, premiering just this past summer. The Amazing Spider-Man 3 has been announced for 2018 with Garfield reprising his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, so the webbed superhero, and those sporting his likeness on All Hallows Eve, is not going anywhere soon. During his down time, Garfield clearly likes to let is squeaky clean Peter Parker alter ego go, as he was recently snapped with a full beard and wearing the John Varvatos V774 sunglasses from REM Eyewear while out at lunch…

Heidi Klum takes Halloween very seriously. Her annual parties have become the stuff of legends and the model herself spares no expense on her own costume. In the past, she has been Lady Godiva, Betty Boop, a vampire, a cat, a Hindu goddess, an alien, a human body without skin and, last year, an octogenarian (shown). This year marks Klum’s 15th Annual Halloween Extravaganza and once again all eyes will be on the supermodel to see what she pulls out of her figurative hat. Perhaps it will be something that requires the use of her favorite Dita Condor sunglasses…
