NEW YORK—Salvatore Ferragamo celebrated the culmination of its 100 Years 100 Days digital cycle on Dec. 8, 2015, with a live interactive event at the Gancio Studios, here. The celebration highlighted the Italian House’s century-long tie to cinema and honored its founder’s pioneering spirit.

Ferragamo welcomed celebrity and VIP friends into the kaleidoscopic fantasy world of Gancio that presented movie sets from throughout the years, while showcasing the House’s signature eyewear from Marchon and timepiece collections.

Streaming live to the 100 Years 100 Days microsite, guests could also become the stars in a multimedia installation by adopting the roles of glamorous screen idols and visionary directors. A vintage screening room was also installed to premiere Ferragamo Signature, a contemporary project celebrating the Ferragamo Gancio, and starring the heirs of Salvatore’s original friends and customers.

Guests included Massimiliano Giornetti, Ferragamo’s creative director; Chiara Ferragamo and Massimo Ferragamo, chairman of Ferragamo; and Claudio Gottardi, Marchon’s CEO and president, as well as famous face like Julianne Moore, Michelle Monaghan, Dree Hemingway, Michael Avedon, Carine Roitfeld and Russell Simmons.
