PARIS—Silmo 2015 took place from September 25-28 at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center, north of Paris.

This year, organizers reported, 34,250 attendees, a rise of 5 percent rise in visiting professionals. International visitors were in the majority, with 57 percent of attendees from around the world and 43 percent representing French opticians, who turned out in greater numbers this year, according to the show. There were a total of 892 exhibitors in the 33,300 square meters, an increase of 5.3 percent of exhibition, with 75 percent of them coming from abroad.

Vision Monday was on hand to capture the scene at the 48th edition of the four day show. See the slideshow for a glimpse into the newly rebranded “largest flagship store dedicated to vision,” as organizers called it.
