NEW YORK—On Oct. 21, Luxottica and
the CFDA celebrated the introduction of designer Charlotte Ronson to
the 4th annual Design Series for Vogue Eyewear at the Gramercy Terrace.
Ronson was joined by Vogue Eyewear’s global ambassador, Eva Mendes, as
well as celebrities including mother Annabelle Dexter-Jones, half-sister
Ann Dexter-Jones, stepfather Mick Jones of Foreigner, actresses Taryn
Manning and Shiri Abbleby and designer Shoshanna Gruss.
Guests enjoyed a first look at the
new collection before sitting down for a tasting menu of Charlotte and
Eva’s favorites dishes. The special edition Charlotte Ronson for Vogue
Eyewear collection will launch at select Sunglass Hut and LensCrafters
stores in January with plans to go global starting in March. ■
