NEW YORK—Eastern States Eyewear (ESE) and 1-800-Clip-Ons have partnered on an exclusive program to make custom-made clip-on sun lenses available for Eastern States’ entire frame catalog.

“We are thrilled to be offering the 1-800-CLIP-ONS option in our ophthalmic collections,” said Paul Shyer, president of ESE. “It will be a great add-on sale for our customers as it provides them with a simple, easy, popularly priced way to provide consumers with what amounts to RX-able sunwear.”

Through this program, any eyecare provider interested in having customized clip-ons available for any ESE frame can call 1-800-CLIP-ONS (1-800-254-7667) to open a free account. Then, when a consumer requests a clip-on the ECP can contact 1-800 CLIP-ONS to place the order, it is not necessary for the ECP to inventory the clips, Shyer added.

ESE will provide its customers who choose to participate in the program with a no-cost starter kit which includes a color chart, order forms, and a sample frame with a clip-on for use as a consumer demonstration.
