PADOVA, Italy—After receiving over 1,000 submissions from musicians, athletes and artists who reflected “Carrera’s Maverick Spirit” and announcing winners back in May, the Carrera Mavericks video final cut launched in July.

The final video features the three competition winners, Danee Marmolejo, a parkour athlete from Mexico; Kiptoe (aka Matt Dean), a visual artist from Los Angeles; and SiairaShawn, a singer from San Francisco.

Curated by the face of Carrera The Mavericks Collection, Jared Leto and shot in L.A. by director Christian Larson, the video showcases the bold, independent spirit of each of the winners as they pursue their unique endeavors.

“The Mavericks are described in a very authentic and fresh way to clearly define who they really are—people who inspire, who don’t accept ‘no’ for an answer, people who are not afraid of chances and breaking the rules,” Carrera said in a release.
