LOS ANGELES—In exploring cleaning cloths as a space for art making, l.a. Eyeworks has partnered with two Los Angeles-based artists, Georganne Deen and Roy Dowell along with U.K.-based creative duo Huntley Muir to design three new cleaning cloths to accompany their Fall/Winter 2016 collections.

A complimentary cleaning cloth comes with the purchase of every l.a. Eyeworks frame worldwide, and the three new works expand the brand’s legacy of collaborations with visual innovators such as artists, illustrators, graphic designers and photographers.

Georganne Deen is an artist, poet and musician. Her works reflect a diverse set of influences like underground comics, outsider art and commercial advertising. Deen’s exploratory narratives can be whimsical and intense, personal and universal.

Roy Dowell’s creations fall between formal modernism, pop art and Dowell’s own affinities for diverse source material. Dowell’s graphic arrangements of pattern and texture transcends the rigidity with fluid, handmade qualities that allow his work to be non-objective.

Huntley Muir is a London-based artist duo (Su Huntley and Donna Muir) who experiment across a spectrum of mediums including digital imaging, multimedia collaboration, painting, drawing, graphics, illustration, video animation as well as set design and installation. Their style depicts fragments from urban landscapes, free-wheeling world-play, radical shifts in scale and visual wit laced with anarchy.

Past participants in the series have included world-renowned artists such as Barbara Kruger, Catherine Opie, Gary Panter, Elizabeth Streb and Martin Kersels.
