Actress and comedian Yvette Nicole Brown appears as Shirley Bennett on the NBC comedy series Community. The series features a tight-knit group of friends who all met at what might possibly be the worst higher educational institution ever conceived – Greendale Community College. Shirley Bennett is a religion housewife who ends up at Greendale after a messy divorce and is now growing into a headstrong entrepreneur thanks to the support from her motley crew of idiosyncratic new friends. The fifth season of Community is scheduled to debut back-to-back episodes on Jan. 2, 2014 on NBC as part of the network’s “Comedy Night Done Right” campaign. One would rarely use “The Sound of Music” and “scandal” in the same sentence. But nonetheless the upcoming The Sound of Music Live!, a three-hour holiday event airing on television on Dec. 5 at 8pm EST on NBC, has received some flak for its casting choices. Moyer was recently seen in New York in the Tom Ford Ramone (FT149) sunglasses from Marcolin in early November no doubt rehearsing for the performance that will be broadcast live this week from a studio in Long Island, N.Y...

In Southern California, in a drug raid run by the US government, a beachfront property was seized and turned into a residence for undercover cops. They are all top agents of the DEA, FBI, and Customs and they are living in this house unofficially known as Graceland. Daniel Sunjata plays senior FBI agent Paul Briggs who has a legendary track record in the bureau, but after a mysterious event and unexplained leave of absence, he traded in his suit and tie for a more Zen existence and is assigned the task of training the rookie who has just arrived at the house. Sunjata gravitated toward the Prada PS 53NS sunglasses from Luxottica a lot in the first season of the show, which wrapped on Sept. 12. The show has been confirmed for a second season which will air next summer on USA and will no doubt include more stylish sunwear to protect the sexy cast from the Southern California sun.
