Some actors or singers go their whole careers hoping for a breakthrough performance. Luckily, the stars in this week’s Bold Face don’t have to wait nearly that long. All under 25, these three young ladies have long, successful careers to look forward to and fabulous eyewear to look through…

Twenty year-old Adèle Exarchopoulos is a French actress who started acting at the age of nine. At the age of 12 she appeared in her first movie role in France, 2007’s Boxes. She went on to star in French films Les Enfants de Timpelbatch (2008), La Rafle (2010), Turk's Head (2010), Chez Gino (2011), Carré Blanc (2011) and Des Morceaux de Moi (2012). Earlier this year she appeared in her first English-speaking film, I Used to Be Darker, but her breakthrough role, and the one that has brought international fame, is her portrayal of Adèle in Blue Is the Warmest Colour, based on a 2010 French graphic novel Blue Angel. The film recently won the prestigious Palme d'Or at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Both Exarchopoulos and co-star Léa Seydoux were also awarded the Palme d'Or alongside director Abdellatif Kechiche, becoming the only females apart from director Jane Campion who have won the award. Lorde is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and at age 13 was signed with Universal. Her musical debut was an EP, titled The Love Club, which was released in November 2012, and her first single, "Royals", debuted at number one on the New Zealand Top 40, and also reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2013, making her the first New Zealand solo artist to have a number one song in the U.S. Her debut album, Pure Heroine, was released in September 2013 and received critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. She is nominated for four Grammys at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Royals" and Best Pop Vocal Album for Pure Heroine. Lorde is 17 years old. The teenager recently performed at the 24th Annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas Concert in L.A. where she also picked up a couple pairs of Rebecca Minkoff x Shane Baum sunglasses, the Cornelia in red/silver and the Lorimer in blonde tortoise gold, from Baumvision



Rita Ora is a British singer-songwriter and actress. Her debut studio album, Ora (2012), debuted at number one in the U.K., and spawned the number-one singles "R.I.P." and "How We Do (Party)." Ora became the artist with the most number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2012. In 2013, she appeared as a guest star on the CW’s 90210, as well as appearing as a racer in the 2013 film Fast & Furious 6, which was released on DVD on Dec. 10 with a portion of the profits from the film's North American sales to be donated to the recently deceased star of the film, Paul Walker's, charity Reach Out WorldWide. Most notably though, she will portray Christian Grey's sister, Mia, in the film adaptation of the best-selling novel Fifty Shades of Grey, which began filming this month and is planned for a February 2015 release…. And we haven’t even gotten into her modeling work. No wonder the 23 year-old needs a little vacation. She was snapped wearing the DSquared2 Limited Edition DQ118 sunglasses from Marcolin in Miami in November.
