STYLE: Bold Face Bold Face: Clooney's Leading Ladies By Deirdre Carroll Friday, April 13, 2012 3:45 PM Bold Face explores the cult of celebrity and the styles, trends and brands that stars show off in movies, at events and living their daily lives. To be considered for inclusion please contact senior editor, Deirdre Carroll. Bold Face has never made much of a secret of her appreciation for one George Timothy Clooney. The Cloons is a hottie and in this edition we round up three of the gorgeous women who have been his leading ladies, on and off the screen… Model, actress, Dancing with the Stars alum and former pro-wrestler, Stacy Keibler is George’s current significant other. During this year’s award season she played the coveted role of arm candy while he made the red carpet rounds for his work in The Descendants and The Ides of March and she looked flawless doing so. Speaking of looking flawless, here she is doing exactly that in the Valentino V623S sunglasses from Marchon. Lest you think this one is just another pretty face, Ms. Keibler earned her SAG card at the ripe old age of eight and will appear on the big screen in two movies this year… Despite what must be numerous requests, our beloved George doesn’t play the romantic male lead in movies much anymore. That makes the “World’s Most Beautiful Women,” Jennifer Lopez even more blessed. She played opposite George in the 1998 movie Out of Sight as a U.S. Marshall charged with bringing in an escaped bank robber played by Clooney. Of course she falls in love with him. Can you blame her? In real life, Lopez is in love with entirely different sort of man and she was recently snapped while on vacation wearing the Dita Mach One sunglasses with said man… The mantle of charismatic criminal is a favorite of George’s but that is where the similarities end when it comes to our next starlet. Salma Hayek appeared with Clooney in 1996’s From Dusk Till Dawn but there was no romantic plot line… unless you consider her character’s desire for his blood romantic. In the movie, Hayek plays the headlining exotic dancer at a Mexican roadhouse-style bar but she’s really an ancient, hideous blood hungry vampire. Leave it to Quentin Tarantino, who wrote and also stars in the Robert Rodriguez-directed film. Like Clooney, Hayek has come a long way since and was snapped wearing the Yves Saint Laurent YSL6346/S sunglasses from Safilo while attending Fall/Winter 2012 fashion shows during Paris Fashion Week in early March.
