The 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were rife with all sorts of eyewear sightings. In this week's edition of Bold Face we highlight several of the most exciting eye sightings from the award show…

Michael Douglas won the Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie honor for his role in HBO's Liberace bio-pic, Behind the Candelabra, last weekend at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards. In the film, Douglas stars as the famous pianist Liberace. The film takes place throughout the last ten years of Liberace's life and received general acclaim from television critics praising the performance of Douglas. Behind the Candelabra won a total of 11 Emmy awards. Douglas also took home this winning pair of Valentino V653S sunglasses from Marchon. So win, win...

Neil Patrick Harris did an exemplary job hosting the Emmy Award ceremony. In fact, it was the most popular Emmys since 2005 with 17.6 million viewers. Before he hit the Emmy's stage, Harris visited the HBO Luxury Lounge at the Beverly Hills Four Seasons Hotel where he picked up a pair of Polaroid Plus PLP0104S sunglasses from Safilo USA and Solstice Sunglasses. Of course, if you didn't get enough of NPH at the Emmys, you can also catch him during his "day job" since the ninth and final season of How I Met Your Mother premiered on Sept. 23. How I Met Your Mother airs Monday nights at 8:00pm on CBS...

The handsome Jon Hamm walked the red carpet at the Emmys with longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt. The couple has been together for more than 14 years, and you can't blame the woman for sticking by his side despite his not putting a ring on it. In addition to his crazy Mad Men success, the man can wear a tuxedo… and a pair of sunglasses. Emmy night he opted for the Ray-Ban RB 2132 style in honey from Luxottica. We'll have to wait a little to see him on the small screen as Don Draper though. The seventh and final season of Mad Men will have 14 episodes, split into two 7-episode parts, airing on AMC in early 2014 and 2015, respectively.

In keeping with his "geek" persona on CBS's Big Bang Theory, Kunal Nayyar, who plays Dr. Rajesh Koothrappali on the sitcom, wore GoogleGlass on the Emmy red carpet. On the show Koothrappali, called Raj by his friends, is an astrophysicist in the physics department at Caltech who seems incapable of talking to women unless under the influence of alcohol, though that affliction seemed to be on the wane in season six. The seventh season of The Big Bang Theory premiered on CBS on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8pm...

Lastly, Elton John hit up the recent Emmy Awards stage to perform his newest single Home Again. Matt Damon and our first Bold Face name this week, Michael Douglas, who costarred in the Emmy-winning HBO Liberace film Behind the Candelabra, introduce a bedazzled-suit-wearing John who completed his look with a pair of Gigantor spectacles from l.a. Eyeworks. The piano playing, sparkly attired John described his performance as a tribute to his late pal.
