Gone Girl. There is perhaps no other movie Bold Face is looking forward to more this fall. Add Ben Affleck to the mix and the anticipation is nearly palpable. Affleck stars as Nick Dunne in the upcoming mystery-thriller film based on the best-selling novel written by Gillian Flynn. Gone Girl tells the story of writer Dunne, who is blamed for the sudden disappearance of his wife Amy. The twists and turns take the audience into the dark heart of a seemingly perfect relationship. American actress and Golden Globe Award winner Jessica Chastain has been making the press and film festival rounds to promote her latest film, which premieres Dec. 31. A Most Violent Year is a crime drama set in New York City during the winter of 1981, statistically one of the most violent years in the city's history. The movie is centered on a the lives of an immigrant and his family trying to expand their business and capitalize on opportunities as rampant violence, decay and corruption drag them in and threaten to destroy all they have built. If Gone Girl is Bold Face's most anticipated movie of the fall, then Magic Mike XXL is her most anticipated film of 2015… and it's not all because of the handsome, scantily clad men.
