The only thing not to like about the holidays is the lack of good TV. Thank goodness some of Bold Face’s favorite shows (old and new!) are back in season, so in this edition we feature three of BF’s faves…

Who would have thought that a British period series based upon a fictional estate set in the early 1900s on PBS would become such a runaway hit in the 21st century? Nonetheless, Downton Abbey has won several Primetime Emmys, BAFTAs and even a Golden Globe. Currently in its second season, the television drama has audiences around the world fascinated by the intrigue inside the English manor house. Actress Elizabeth McGovern plays Cora Crawley, Countess of Grantham, the American wife of Robert, the Earl of Grantham. Brand new this year is FOX’s quirky procedural drama, The Finder, about an eccentric and amusing Iraq War veteran who is in high demand from various government agencies for his uncanny ability to find anything. Fans of the network’s series Bones will recognize the main character Walter Sherman, played by the handsome Geoff Stults, from that show’s “The Finder” episode last season which was meant to introduce the spin-off series. Bold Face is a fan of Bones and so far is enjoying The Finder and it’s not just because Stults is hot… it may be because he is often seen wearing the Oliver Peoples NDG frames with custom flip clip from Eclips though...



Chord Overstreet has reprised his role as Sam Evans in the third season of Glee. Overstreet returned to the show as a recurring character starting with this season's eighth episode. And what a return it was! Rachel and Finn found the lovely Sam working as an exotic dancer in an all-male review! It’s nice to have Trouty Mouth back and Bold Face is keeping her fingers crossed that romance is rekindled between Sam and Mercedes… perhaps during the show’s Feb 14 “Love” episode?
