Not only is Lady Gaga one of the world’s most experimental, over-the-top dressers and performers, she is also one of the best-selling musicians of our time. She has won five Grammy Awards as well as 13 MTV Video Music Awards, and has sold an estimated 27 million albums and 125 million singles worldwide. Her new collaborative jazz album with Tony Bennett, Cheek to Cheek, will be released later this year. Supporting her third album ARTPOP, Lady Gaga is currently in the middle of her fourth headlining concert tour called artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball. Freddie Mercury, lead singer of Queen from 1970 until his death in 1991, is one of the most legendary entertainers in rock history and a hard act to follow. It would take a very special person to even attempt to fill his shoes, but Adam Lambert, the former American Idol contestant who shares a kinship to Mercury in terms of theatrical flair, is certainly up to the task. Lambert has been touring with Queen’s original guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor to perform some of the band’s greatest hits and in true Mercury fashion is doing so with flamboyant sartorial style. It turns out that singer/songwriter Kesha cites Queen as an early influence on her musical style, also Madonna, so it is no surprise the outrageous pop star has a penchant for being outrageous. Her unconventional style has understandably evolved through the course of her career and lately has seen her experimenting with hair color. Here she was snapped in April at LAX with rainbow hued hair and wearing the Diesel #DENIMEYE DL0111 sunglasses from Marcolin. She is now currently appearing in ABC's singing competition show, Rising Star, in the panel of experts including Brad Paisley and Ludacris, and has “toned down” her hair to varying shades of pink, lavender and baby blue.
