In this week’s edition of Bold Face we feature three lovely ladies who can be seen in some pretty strong roles… Emilia Clarke stars as Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons, on HBO’s Game of Thrones. Daenerys is the princess of the House Targaryen and lives in exile in Essos. She believes she is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne and is on a mission to reclaim it. The fourth season of Game of Thrones is scheduled to premiere in early 2014 but the series has also been nominated for a total of 16 Emmy Awards this year including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actress for the lovely Ms. Clarke here. The Emmys air on CBS on Sept. 22 at 8pm. Clarke wears the Chloé CE602S sun style from Marchon... In Gravity, Sandra Bullock plays medical engineer Dr. Ryan Stone on her first space shuttle mission accompanied by veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky, played by George Clooney, who is commanding his final expedition. During a spacewalk, debris from a satellite crashes into the space shuttle, leaving it mostly destroyed, and stranding them in space with limited air. Without means of communication with Earth, they must cooperate to survive. The film is scheduled for wide release in the U.S. and Canada on Oct. 4. Bullock wears the Persol 3023 from Luxottica at the recent Venice Film Festival where the film opened... Mad Max: Fury Road is an upcoming Australian post-apocalyptic action film co-written, produced and directed by George Miller, and the fourth film of Miller's Mad Max franchise. The film will star British actor Tom Hardy as Mad Max, while the original Mad Max actor Mel Gibson has a cameo role. Speculation has run wild on the plot of the film which wrapped filming at the end of last year but it is said to be set shortly after the events of Beyond Thunderdome, which was made nearly 30 years ago. Charlize Theron stars as Imperator Furiosa and you just know that she is going to be bad ass. In fact, Miller supposedly shot two Mad Max films back-to-back, Fury Road and Mad Max: Furiosa, which must revolve around her character. Theron wears the Tom Ford TF279 sunglasses from Marcolin.
