Bold Face: Starlets on the Rise

Bold Face explores the cult of celebrity and the styles, trends and brands that stars show off in movies, at events and living their daily lives. To be considered for inclusion please contact senior editor, Deirdre Carroll.

Hollywood is obsessed with youth and younger actresses have started to garner the kind of cult followings previously reserved for A-listers. In this edition of Bold Face we highlight three such actresses with very promising careers ahead of them…

Ariel Winter stars in the Emmy Award winning TV comedy Modern Family as Alex Dumphey, a 13 year-old over achiever. Speaking of over achieving, the young actress (and singer!) already has a long and impressive list of television and film credits to her name. With the kind of award-winning career many adult actors can only dream about, Ariel is primed to be the next big thing in Hollywood. And she is certainly already figuring out her style, here she sports the classic Michael Kors M2047S aviator from Marchon

Actress Hannah Marks is 18 years old and stars in USA Network’s Necessary Roughness as 16 year old Lindsay Santino. In addition to roles in shows such as Weeds, Flash Forward and Ugly Betty, as well as roles in major films like Accepted and The Runaways, Hannah is poised for serious stardom when the upcoming The Amazing Spiderman, staring Andrew Garfield premieres next summer. Here the young starlet wears the AL1071 sunglasses from Alain Mikli

The youngest star on our line up is Rowan Blanchard who just turned 10 on Oct 14. Rowan, who also appeared in The Back-Up Plan with Jennifer Lopez, stars in Spy Kids 4D: All the Time in the World with Jessica Alba, Jeremy Piven and Joel McHale. Spy Kids: All the Time in the World is the fourth film in the action-packed family film franchise from director Robert Rodriguez and is scheduled to explode onto DVD and Blu-ray on Nov. 22. Rowan wore the Susu in pearl from Sama Eyewear to the premiere of Spy Kids 4 back in August.
