George Bernard Shaw said that “youth is wasted on the young.” Well the three talented young stars in this edition of Bold Face are proving that not every person under the age of 21 is leading a wasteful life…

Freddie Highmore, age 21, stars as the infamous Norman Bates on the A&E drama series Bates Motel. The series is a contemporary prequel to the famous 1960 Alfred Hitchcock film Psycho. The show illustrates the twisted life of Norman Bates and his mother, Norma, prior to the events depicted in Hitchcock’s film. Viewers also get a look into how Norman Bates’ psyche unravels throughout his teenage years. The creepy Bates Motel has been renewed for a second season which is set to air in 2014. Highmore wears the Valentino V630S sunglasses from Marchon

At age 19, Dakota Fanning has already been acting for 13 years and has already been in more movies than actors twice her age. In fact, she has three more ready to hit over the next several months. On Nov. 8, The Motel Life will premiere where Fanning plays a teenage prostitute. After that the environmental drama Night Moves, also starring Jesse Eisenberg, followed by The Last of Robin Hood, where Fanning takes on the mantle of Beverly Aadland, the true story of the teen starlet who became the last girlfriend of legendary swashbuckler Errol Flynn. Both of those movies will go into wide release in 2014. Until then we can catch the talented Fanning in the Prada PR12P sunglasses from Luxottica
