NAPLES, Italy—Made with Italian excellence, the Neapolitan tailoring company, Kiton has launched their first spring/summer 2016 sunglass collection for men who have a sophisticated savoir faire, the company said.

Upholding Kiton’s “the best of the best +1” brand philosophy, the company has partnered with Barberini, an industry leader in the production of optical glass sun lenses, to construct an exclusive lens for the collection. As a result, each style is fitted with the Basic Lens 2, an ultra-thin glass with the durability of a high performance lens.

Inspired by the screw of tailoring scissors, the hinges of the collection feature aesthetically reproduced screws topped with the distinctive Kiton red dot logo. In celebration of the brand’s history, the line also contains a titanium “K” logo with galvanic treatment on the temples. To add a personal touch, the interior temples feature a palladium plate for custom engraving.

With a contemporary minimalistic style, the collection’s color palette is specifically curated to match the fabric used in Kiton jackets, the company said.
