STYLE: Brands + Designers Style.Pages Check.Out: Frame Boutique By Deirdre Carroll Monday, August 31, 2015 12:00 AM #TheCOLLECTION Wildfox Eyewear Wildfox, co-created by two best friends who were inspired by a love for vintage T-shirts and the magic of everlasting friendship, started as a vintage women’s knitwear brand based in Los Angeles. Wildfox has grown to include a full range of tops, bottoms, dresses and skirts, and a White Label collection which offers a higher range of apparel. Wildfox Kids, the “little sister” adaptation of the women’s line, launched in 2009. Today, Wildfox continues to develop its lifestyle brand with a wide range of intimates, swim, sun and optical, denim and accessories. In 2014, Wildfox launched its first flagship store in West Hollywood, Calif., with a second retail location opened in 2015 in Malibu, Calif. Internationally, Wildfox is distributed in over 30 countries worldwide. Average MSRP is $159-$220 @Retail Elise Laase Buyer, Frame Boutique, www.frameboutique.com “The brand puts out a cool, fun vibe that makes the consumer want to be a part of it.” What are you selling? We added Wildfox to our assortment almost two years ago and it has been one of our best-selling brands since day one. Our most popular frame is a bold cat eye ophthalmic with a vintage feel called the Le Femme Spectacle. We are continually adding new styles to keep things fresh as well as making sure the brand is predominately featured so customers can easily find it. Who’s buying it? This brand speaks to women in their 20s and 30s that are looking for something that will stand out and get them noticed. Why do they like it? Wildfox has really started to make a name for itself in the fashion world and is often seen being worn by various celebrities. This collection features so many unique frame shapes and color combinations that it’s hard for the brand to not stand out from others. In addition, we do custom images of the frames including 360 degree rotation and high-res zoom so the customer can see every intricate detail of the frame online prior to purchase.
