NORTHVALE, N.J.—Avalon Eyewear has launched a brand new men’s eyewear collection specializing in larger fits called Le Grand.

“Le Grand gives the ECP a well-rounded quality product lineup designed to meet the market’s need for large fit and multiple sizing options for men,” said David Pildes, vice president of Avalon. “The collection is at a significant cost savings when compared to existing alternatives truly providing the ‘biggest bang for the buck’ with features that include handmade materials, spring hinges and contemporary styling.”

The initial 16-piece collection represents Avalon’s modern sensibilities and ability to address the needs of the dispensing optician. There are four plastic styles, as well as 10 metal and combination models.

Styles range in size from 56-60mm and temples come in lengths from 140 to 155mm, with six styles in the collection in multiple sizes each. Several materials are used including handmade zyls in a variety of modern and classic colors with all styles coming in three colors each to allow the optician to choose from a broad selection to best fit their patient’s needs.

Merchandising and P.O.P. materials for the collection include a 6-frame display and a single frame logo plaque, as well as counter cards.
