WILTON, Conn.—L’Amy America, a division of global eyewear group TWCL’Amy, has announced the North American launch of Balmain Eyewear.

Beginning in 1945, with the creation of Couture House Balmain, Pierre Balmain, clothed Hollywood stars like Ava Gardner, Katherine Hepburn, Marlene Dietrich and Brigitte Bardot. Today, Balmain is under the artistic direction of Olivier Rousteing.

Through the years Balmain has remained loyal to a strong and specific design aesthetic that exemplifies architectural detail with glamour and elegance, as well as a rock-n-roll edge. The eyewear collections reflect these quintessential Balmain design elements through the use of mixed materials like acetate, titanium, leather and lacquered metals. With details like rivets, chains, contemporary frame shapes and gloss and matte colorations, L’Amy and Balmain have created a complete high fashion sunglass and ophthalmic collection for both men and women.

A full range of visual merchandising materials are available with a purchases of 12 pieces or more, such as logo plaques, counter cards, window banners, shopping bags and a 3-piece window display.
