OXFORD, England—Adlens is launching Sundials, a line of adjustable focus sunwear. Sundials are designed for people who do not usually buy optical sunglasses. They can be used in various types of situations during outdoor activities or on vacation, Adlens said.

Sundials are built on the same Alvarez lens technology as Adlens’s award winning Adlens Adjustables. Each lens is comprised of two wave-shaped plates that can glide across one another altering the power of each lens. The instantly adjustable sunwear, featuring stylish dark lenses with UVA/UVB protection, can correct over 90 percent of spherical errors (lens power -6 to +3,5 diopters), according to Adlens.

Adlens offers Sundials in four styles, including an all-black frame or black with pink, green or blue temples.

Adlens Sundials are the ideal product for active people who require a dynamic product to suit their lifestyle, according to the company. They represent an exclusive adjustable sunwear product, increasing the existing range of Adlens variable focus eyewear and creating new opportunities for Adlens to grow into new markets, the company said. ■
