RANDOLPH, Mass.— Randolph Engineering, Inc., a global manufacturer and marketer of performance eyewear, announced the appointment of Ekene Ofodile to the newly created position of senior vice president of global sales and marketing, a move the company said reflects its “commitment to expanding both its brand and its business.”

Ofodile joined Randolph on Nov. 12, reporting directly to Peter Waszkiewicz, president and CEO of Randolph.

Ofodile comes to Randolph from the Cross Water Group, LLC, where, as the founder and managing director, he specialized in international business development and operations strategy consulting for consumer product companies, including Randolph, where he has been instrumental in structuring the international business for success. Prior to founding The Cross Water Group, LLC, Ofodile served as senior manager, international sales operations, at New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc., where he was responsible for the brand’s international sales operations. Over his 15-year career with New Balance, Ofodile was instrumental in helping grow the brand into a leading premium athletic footwear and apparel company.

Randolph Engineering, Inc. founded in 1972 is a family owned and operated ophthalmic frames and sunglass manufacturer, operating out of Randolph, Mass. Randolph began as an engineering company building optical tools and equipment and has since evolved into a full scale U.S. based manufacturing and marketing business specializing in high quality sunglasses, frames and specialty protective eyewear. Randolph supplies its products to the U.S. military (since 1978) and a wide range of customers worldwide.
