ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Vision Council's Eyecessorize fashion eyewear campaign has issued its fall/winter 2016 trend kit to more than 100 fashion and lifestyle editors nationwide this week. The digital kit will include an online booklet prominently featuring product from members of The Vision Council, including men's and women's optical and sunwear frame images, alongside trend descriptions. Provided in a digital format, the kit gives editors quick-and-easy access to the materials, offering them the capability to download hi-res versions of the featured frames and view slide shows showcasing the frame images in each trend.

Overall, the kit is meant to generate consumer media awareness of the season's eyewear trends and product from members of The Vision Council, ultimately leading to coverage in fashion and lifestyle media outlets. Eyecessorize typically secures placements in top-tier outlets such as InStyle, Good Housekeeping, SHAPE, People StyleWatch, Glamour.com and Vogue.com, just to name a few.

In turn, such placements will add to the Eyecessorize's overall media impressions number, which is used to gauge the campaign's yearly success. Furthermore, the kit will enhance the sole mission of the campaign: to promote eyewear and sunwear as must-have fashion accessories to the media.
