NEW YORK—ECPs interested in using digital tools to enhance their patients’ experience and engagement in their dispensaries are showcasing the advantages of My Frame Gallery, a recent program launched from Frames Data (Frames Data is a service and division of the Jobson Optical Group).

The goal of My Frame Gallery is to give the ECP an opportunity to create a personalized virtual frame board to help them compete with direct online sellers of eyewear. My Frame Gallery tries to drive patients to ECP offices and build more awareness of frame choice among an ECP office’s patients and customers.

Many practices have started to feature My Frame Gallery in their offices and/or on their websites. Livermore Optometry features the gallery prominently on their practice’s home page. Texas State Optical Baytown does the same. Stone Hill Optical emphasizes “over 1,000+ frames to try” as it talks about its advanced frame fitting to patients.

During Vision Expo West this week, Frames Data, marking its 50th anniversary this year, will host its own booth on the show floor, #24068, and will be featuring a series of live seminars to help demonstrate the new product and service.

“For the first time, we have a new product that is very visual and fun to interact with. We will have a Vision Expo environment to appeal to both our longtime customers, as well as to general Expo attendees that may casually walk by the booth,” said Tom Lamond, president of Frames Data. He added, “My Frame Gallery allows eyecare professionals to build an online virtual frame board that can be added to a website, as well as be used in-store with patients.

Lamond noted, “It’s also a product that has generated significant enthusiasm. The My Frame Gallery seminars are scheduled every day of the show at 10:30 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

The seminars will illustrate how ECPs can customize their Gallery, how they can add frames from Frames Data, and show an overview of a finished Gallery, including Virtual Try-On. New features of My Frame Gallery include automatic updates and a wish list for patients. All seminar attendees will receive a free Starbucks gift card.

People not attending Vision Expo can also set up a time to schedule an online session here.
