January 2011 marked the debut of the Tommy Hilfiger eyewear collection from the Safilo Group. The collection embodies the neo-preppiness of the Tommy Hilfiger brand; while the eyewear has been specially designed with a classic yet modern feel that reflects Tommy Hilfiger's “classic American cool” style.
Wearer: Fans of the classic Americana aesthetic and those enjoying the renewed popularity of the Tommy Hilfiger brand.
Specifics: The optical collection has 11 models: four acetate, six metal and one titanium style. The sunglass collection offers acetate and metal styles and is comprised of 12 men’s/unisex styles and three women’s styles.
Selling Points: Colors include the iconic Tommy Hilfiger color combinations, such as red, white and blue, as well as refined classic colors, such as black and Havana for the acetate models or palladium and ruthenium red for the metal styles.
