The optical collection also features a specially designed case and cleaning cloth with the signature Harley Diva Rose logo, while the sun collection comes with a cleaning cloth featuring the Harley-Davidson Heart and Rose logo.

Specifics: Six new optical styles and six new sun styles.
Selling Points: The optical collection offers a variety of wearable shapes such as vintage inspired, cat-eye, oval and rectangular. Model 715 is a men’s rectangle in acetate, while Model 719 is an acetate rectangle with a high bridge and Model 720 is a metal frame, both also for men. Model 717 is an oversized rectangle in acetate intended for men, but which works for both genders. Model 716 is a petite acetate frame for women and Model 718 is butterfly-inspired acetate optical frame also for women. In sun, styles express the cool, urban vibe of the brand with metal details and retro-inspired shapes. The Del Rey is a modern women’s cat shape with a bold brushed metal brow detail, while the Laurel is a semi-cat-eye shape with a plastic front and metal temples. Safilo Releases the Gucci Eyeweb 500 by Gucci Sunglasses

Following the launch of the 500 by Gucci, Safilo presents a pair of special-edition Gucci sunglasses in the Gucci Eyeweb collection. The metal aviator with tear-drop lenses and double-nose bridge features the Gucci green-red-green web and is available in two versions, a small black and white shape for women (GG 2898/N/S), and a larger, all-black version for men (GG 1951/N/S).

Serengeti Announces 2011 Polar PhD Collection

Serengeti has announced that their new Polar PhD lenses are available on all models in their Serengeti Sport collection and select pieces in the Wire Flex series. The Trivex Polar PhD lenses feature polarization engineered directly onto the back surface of the lens using their proprietary Advanced Polarized Surface Technology, while the photochromic technology incorporated into the lenses at the molecular level continuously adjusts to changing light conditions.

Rye&Lye Unveils New Collection

This year the Rye&Lye collection takes up the theme of free climbing. The collection focuses on the sport to draw inspiration for its ‘Future Retro’ collection and has tapped Maurizio Dall’Omo, best known as Icio, a real, highly experienced climber to front its campaign. The first two styles highlighted are the Climber and Wall.
