L’Amy Debuts Columbia Eliminator Polarized Line
Quick Take: L’Amy America has introduced a new line of value-driven, polarized performance sunglasses into Columbia Eyewear, called the Eliminator collection.
Specifics: Ten new performance sun models, available in three to four colors each. All feature Eliminator polarized lenses, bi-injected “Gripol” rubber temple tips and nosepads for added comfort. All models are Carl Zeiss Vision certified RXable.
Selling Points: Columbia Sportswear’s product development heritage dictates function first. All models are made of, or partially made of, Hyperlite 90 (H90), Columbia’s proprietary injection-molded propionate, which is lighter in weight than most traditional Grilamid/TR90 -type materials, the company said. Wescan Adds F-3460 to Fysh UK
Wescan has added the F-3460 optical style to their Fysh UK collection. The F-3460 is a funky semi-rimless combination frame with eclectic styling. The tribal inspired pattern on the TR‐90 temples, allows frame wearers to achieve an exotic look while the model itself comes in a variety of colors such as brown, red, purple and teal and is available in size 54‐18‐135.
Clariti Release Three New Konishi Styles
Clariti Eyewear has added three new styles to its Konishi Collection for February. The KA5701 is an acetate frame with an iconic ’50s rock n’ roll style available in black and black/clear; while the KP5515 is made of pure titanium with masculine temples and is offered in matte black, matte gunmetal and mocha. Lastly, the KF8334 from the brand’s Flex Titanium line has a memory metal nose bridge and temples with spring hinges. These frames come in matte grey, matte brown and matte dark blue.
Zeal Optics Rebrands Goggle Collection
Zeal Optics has launch of an entirely re-branded goggle collection for 2013. The 10 new, plus three new tech-specific goggles with GPS systems, are specifically crafted to fit the active outdoor marketplace. Most Zeal goggles now feature a version of the company’s new, proprietary anti-fog, high-density, impact-resistant lens that results in clear views, edge to edge. Additionally, the three new Tech Series goggles that showcase the brand’s Z3 GPS technology all have an enlarged, polarized, in-molded anti-fog lens set into a flexible, medium-to-large frame that retains its malleability in cold temperatures, as well as the ability to download data from the goggles to digitally track and share their experiences.
