Marchon Revamps Airlock Collection

As part of their ongoing overhaul of their Global Collections, Marchon has revamped their proprietary Airlock Collection of drill mount frames.
Wearer: With dozens of styles to choose from, there is an Airlock style to compliment every face and personality, man or woman.
Specifics: First introduced in 2001, currently the Airlock collection includes 15 styles, which are part of the LOVE Beta-Titanium series, with new colors are being introduced this fall. Additionally, Airlock is introducing a brand new collection called the Airlock Carbon Fiber Collection.
Selling Points: The LOVE Beta-Titanium collection is segmented into three series; the Love Secret Collection, featuring the original Airlock hingeless Beta Titanium styles; the Love Surprise Collection, the to-date best-selling hinged Beta Titanium styles, and the Love Struck Collection, a Beta Titanium collection featuring thin zyl temples. For the revamped collection a new Airlock logo and anti-reflective demo lenses have been introduced, as has a new Airlock eco-friendly foldable case. Also, new this fall is a 12-piece Airlock frame display. The Airlock Carbon Fiber Collection features temples made of carbon fiber combined with plastic resin. The combination provides added strength to the carbon fiber while providing the most durable and lightweight construction available; while a thin layer of fiberglass and transparent resin provide a wide variety of colors.

Viva Unveils Gant Fall/Winter 2012 Eyewear Collection

Viva International Group has introduced the new Gant Eyewear Fall/Winter 2012 collections, which features classic styles with a modern edge.
Specifics: The new Gant ophthalmic collection consists of a men’s style, as well as a fashionable women’s style. A new Gant Rugger style is also included in this season’s offerings, along with a men’s and a women’s pairing from the Gant by Michael Bastian collection.
Selling Points: For Gant men, the G Tupper, highlighted in the Fall 2012 print campaign, features a distinctive round shape in handmade acetate with a keyhole bridge that adds a vintage element, as well as two metal studs on each endpiece. For women, the options feature chunkier plastics in more vintage-inspired shapes, as seen in the GW Juvet, a classic wayfarer shape with laser engraved logo treatments on the temples and metal stud detailing on both the front and temples. In Gant Rugger, round shapes continue with the GR Borea, a new men’s style with a retro feel in a variety of horn acetate colorations. The G MB Copley, a new men’s style from Gant by Michael Bastian, has a double bridge and deep angular front shape finished in handmade acetate. Lastly, the GW MB Allie, a new women’s ophthalmic release from the Gant by Michael Bastian, features a soft cat-eye shape in translucent horn colorations with metal stud detailing on the temples.

Eastern State Releases New Jaguar Styles for Fall

Eastern States Eyewear has announced the release of its Fall 2012 Jaguar collection.
Specifics: Four classic ophthalmic styles, including two constructed of pure titanium. In addition, five new Jaguar Spirit styles have been introduced.

The ProDesign 4th Dimension Collection was inspired by the desire to create a high fashion, contemporary line of frames for the urbane, design-oriented man and woman.
