Switch Vision Launches Full Rim Interchangeable Magnetic Lens Collection

Selling Points: Using the company’s magnetic interchange lens technology, the Context Collection allows the consumer to easily switch between different lenses based on light conditions. Designed to fit prescription lenses allowing for custom Rx options, anyone can now switch between clear and sun shatterproof polycarbonate lenses based on their respective settings. McGee Presents Vera Bradley “Shades of Fall” Sunglasses
The Shades of Fall Vera Bradley sunglass collection from the McGee Group features five styles in the latest Vera Bradley colors. Adrian is a traditional aviator shape with handmade acetate temples in the Portobello Road pattern with polarized lenses. Cassie is an acetate frame with a modified rectangle eyeshape with embossed metal temple décor inspired by Vera Bradley’s quilted bags. Lillian is a triple laminate acetate frame, with an oversized rounded eyeshape with finishing touches in the Provençal color. Anna is a medium butterfly eyeshape, with bold front colors including purple horn and spotted tortoise. Lastly, Tara is a combination frame, with a rectangle metal front, wide acetate temples and gradient lenses.
Alain Mikli Releases the Chamarel Collection
Succumbing to his 30 year love affair with cellulose acetate, Alain Mikli introduces the new Chamarel Collection. Choosing a checkered pattern, a signature of the brand since 1978 and a reference to the logo of the brand, designer Alain Mikli combines squares and colors to create nine different combinations. Every Alain Mikli frame is handmade and showcases the “Made in France” know how. Each is made out of raw materials and the highest quality components. The Chamarel collection will be available in October.
Kaenon Adds the Wishbone for Ladies
Kaenon has introduced the Wishbone sunglass style for women. With a hexagonal lens and frame shape that is complimented by thinly sculpted temples, the Wishbone modernizes a classic fashion frame. Moderately sized, the style is the first 6-base women's sunglass from Kaenon, with less wrap for a more fashion-forward look. The lightweight, feminine frame, available in black or tortoise with the brand’s proprietary polarized SR-91 lens, is crafted and hand-painted in Italy and embedded with discreet Kaenon icons.
