Match Launches Danny Gokey Women’s Eyewear

Quick Take: Match Eyewear has introduced a women’s collection into their Danny Gokey Eyewear ophthalmic collection.
Wearer: The new styles reflect an effortless cool that speaks directly to the classic individual style of the brand, targeted to women, aged 18 to 35.
Specifics: The launch collection features four women’s styles that echo the menswear inspiration of the Danny Gokey Men’s collection but refined with delicate proportions, unexpected colors and premium acetates for a distinctly feminine feel.
Selling Points: "We found that a significant percentage of sales could be attributed to women," said Ethan Goodman, president of Match. "Incorporating women’s styles into the collection is a vital step in the natural progression of the brand." Highlights include the DG 18, a modified cat eye with translucent color blocking on its temples and the DG 19 and 21, reminiscent of horn rim styles updated with soft geometric shaping, splashes of color and semi-transparent temples. The rounded DG 22 is complimented by metal accents and interior color contrasting with a tortoise front. All Danny Gokey Eyewear comes with a protective hard case and cleaning cloth, while the new styles will appear in marketing efforts and merchandising displays.

Viva Presents New Rampage Eyewear Optical Styles

Viva International Group has added two news styles to the Rampage Eyewear collection. Bold and dramatic design elements, including sculpted temple treatments, soft matte finishes and pops of color, coordinate with the contemporary fashion apparel of today’s Rampage woman. Models R 178 and R 179 feature matte finished temples combined with a shiny raised rope-like textured pattern. Handcrafted in acetate, model R 178 features a cat eye inspired front shape and is available in color combinations, including black over crystal with white swirl, brown over milky blue and iridescent plum over burgundy. Model R 179 shares the same temple d├ęcor combined with a modified rectangle metal front in satin-finished tones of black, brown and plum.

WestGroupe Releases New Fysh UK Models

WestGroupe has released two new models in their Fysh UK eyewear collection. Model F-3496, a full-rim ladies zyl, has a vintage-inspired eyeshape highlighted with a lace pattern silkscreened onto the endpiece and along the temple length in four colors including nude, black, frosted purple and frosted grey. Model F-3489 is a feminine, stainless steel model with a modified rectangular eyeshape. The high gloss, iridescent colors appear to have different hues, depending on the reflection of the light with a circular, laser cut pattern on the endpiece and temple completing the design. The F-3489 is available in four colors; black peacock, purple seafoam, burgundy periwinkle and brown berry., (Western U.S.)
